I have recently learned of a proposed plan to build completely new public housing units in the area of my hometown, Fayetteville, N.C.,known as Old Wilmington Road, where I grew up. As I write this, I have previously been informed that the whole public housing areas have been demolished and are currently being replaced by completely new and more modern units. Although I am somewhat saddened by this, I am more pleased that my hometown is on the move and that the community leaders have the peoples' well - being at heart. Fayetteville you're truly on the move.Congratulations.

FRIENDS
A
person is blessed to have a friend in life and I have been
blessed to have many friends over the years. From time to
time, with their permission, I will feature them and share a
few things about why and how we became friends. Where we
came from and how we got to where we are today is a
journey that we need to reflect upon to keep a proper
perspective on life. I have friends that keep me grounded and
sometimes
well-rounded (by keeping me well-fed). Friends tell you when
you're right, and most of all, when you're wrong. That is
the sign of a true friend, one who'll help you to get it
right. I thank GOD for all of you and hope that you
continue to pray for me as I pray for you. My intention is
to add YOU to that list of friends as we get to know each
other, in CHRIST JESUS. Be blessed, stick around as long as
you like, and come back again soon.
With Total Sincerity,
MINISTERJAY W. MCGEE
