Ministry is doing the work of God, as His servants, here
on earth. This can be, and often is, achieved in many different
ways.Teaching, preaching, singing, dancing, miming, playing music, and
writing are some of the gifts that can be used to minister with.
Unfortunately these are also areas that can be used for working against
the ministry of God.Some of the most beautiful melodies have been
combined with the most sinful words.
We have people teaching that there
is no hell, to which the Holy Bible clearly states that there is a hell
for willful sinners. Many preachers are so busy preaching about money
that souls are not being nurtured and are being lost right under their
leadership, or lack of.There are songs being sung, by so-called Gospel
singers, that refuse to address God or Jesus by name, in order to get
played on secular radio, in order to sell more C D's.If you have a
Gospel song that does not clearly declare that Jesus is Lord in some
form or fashion, it is not a Gospel song.
Since we don't know a
person's mind, we can only form opinions by what we see or hear them do.
Just make yourself clear, if it's for or about Him, there should be no
doubt. This brings up another subject for discussion, and that is
spirit. We need to question ourselves; are we doing things in the right
Spirit. There are many spirits that are nonproductive and downright evil
in nature because they come from hell. On the other hand, The Holy
Spirit of God has the power to transform you into a person that enjoys
performing the righteous will of God.The Spirit, in which you minister,
will determine the effectiveness with which it reaches it's intended
audience.Secular is secular and Holy is Holy and never the twain shall
meet. What spirit are you bringing forth? There are many different types
but the only One that matters, in a positive way, is The Spirit of The
Holy Ghost.
In this section we will be including references and links to
only the ministries that we feel are meeting the standards that will
efficiently lead God's people. The times are critical and we cannot
afford to be misled. Let it be noted that the ministry of assistance,
helping those who are in need, aside from teaching The Word of God, is
quite likely the most important ministry of all. In all honesty, this
was put on my heart by my friend and fellow servant of God, Reverend
Ronnie E. Newkirk. After visiting his site, which is the first ministry
that will be posted, I felt like I should be doing more in that area,
and with God's guidance, I intend to. I am proud to come from the same
humble beginnings and even the same city and high school as Reverend
Newkirk. Just to know that our life had a purpose, in God, which is the
most important part of life, and that He brought us through all of that
to be a blessing to others is humbling and yet fulfilling. Please
support the ministries that you feel are truly serving God's people. In
my opinion, these are some of those ministries.
