With the world having such difficult economic times, most of the emphasis on life has been shifted to survival. This seems, in my opinion, to have led to less consideration of others, besides ones self and family.
Although this is easily understood, it is still quite disturbing to think that, in these times, if you're not fortunate enough to have money or material goods, then you could be left to wither away and possibly die.
Yes I know, this is not a bright subject but I hope it will be enlightening, just the same.
As we often hear the term,"global community" used by media and business types, let's consider what that really means. To the best of my knowledge, it means that the world has become more connected and that we have become more dependent upon each other, regardless to where we live in the world.
With that being the case, we must also be called upon to share the burdens of others, or ultimately their burdens will become our burdens as well.
What I'm saying is, as we are blessed to prosper, please think of ways to help those less fortunate than yourself. You will be blessed for doing so, but do it out of the goodness of your heart.
Sincerely, Jay W. McGee
